SBI PO Pre Strategy
It is better to understand the dynamics of exam first.This is conducted to filter out people in a quick fashion.
100 Q in 60 Mins
English-30Q. Time Alloted-15 min
Reasoning-35Q. Time Alloted-20 min
Maths-35Q. Time Alloted-25 min
ENGLISH-5 topics are asked in the exam
1)RCs-10 QUES
2) Cloze Test-5 QUES
3)Parajumble-5 QUES
4)Spotting Error-5 QUES
5)Fill in the blanks-5 QUES

Now what I do is I skip the RCs and attempt rest all 20 Ques as they are easy and less time consuming.These 20 Ques will hardly take your 15 mins and will boost your accuracy.

In RCs I only attempt the synonyms and antonyms as there is no need to read the full RC just go through a line or two which contain that word and it will work like charm.

So break up of English is 23 Ques in 15 Minutes
QUANT- If I have to break up this section also I will break it into 5 topics again which are
1) Quadratic Equation -5 Ques
2) Number Series-5 Ques
3) Simplication-5 Ques
4)DI-10 Ques (Generally 1 DI is very easy whereas 2nd Di is moderate)
5) Miscellaneous-10 Ques
Now what I do is attempt quadratic,number series, Simplication and DI first and in that way I cover 25 Ques in 20-22 minutes.I will be sharing the shortcut of quadratic equation in the next post. I don't try to attempt any of the miscellaneous questions in the first go.

REASONING-Lets do the break up of this section also
1) Puzzles -4 puzzles are asked (20 Ques)
Type i)Linear Puzzle-8 ppl facing north south
Type ii)Floor puzzle-7 ppl living on diff floors
Type iii)2puzzles based on 3 parameters are given like 7 ppl 7 cities 3 colleges
2) Inequality-5 Ques
3)blood relationship-2Ques
4)Ranking and direction sense -3 Ques
5)Seating Arrangement-5Ques Circular
Now what you have to do is attempt inequality first as direct questions are asked after that bump into blood relationship and direction questions.Then attempt seating arrangement and after that try to attempt two puzzles which have two parameters.

That way you will be able to do 22-23 questions in this section also.
