RBI Office Attendant 2017: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria in order to apply online for RBI Office Attendant Exam:

1. Age-based Eligibility:

The minimum eligible age of the candidate is 18 years and maximum eligible age is 25 years as on 1st November 2017, i.e. the candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/11/1992 and not later than 01/11/1999 (both days including). 

2. Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate should have cleared 10th Standard (S.S.C./ Matriculation) from their respective State or UT, under the regional jurisdiction of the regional office from which they are applying. 
  • The candidate should also have the domicile of the state or the union territory from which they are applying. 
  • As on 1st November 2017, the candidate should be an undergraduate. Candidates possessing higher qualifications or graduates are not eligible to apply. 
  • Candidate should be proficient in the local language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ UT from which he/ she is applying.

How to apply online for RBI Office Attendant Exam 2017?

  • In order to apply online for the exam of RBI Office Attendant, the candidates can visit the official website of Reserve Bank of India, or go to the direct link provided above. 
  • Select, 'Click here for New Registration'. 
  • In the new window that pops up, enter the required details. 
  • Upload the photograph and signature in the required dimensions. 
    (a) Photograph: Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) & Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb
    (b) Signature: Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) & Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb
  • Cross check all the details that you have entered and then click on submit.
  • Pay the requisite fees in online mode. 
  • After the final submission, do save a copy of your application fees with you.

RBI Office Attendant 2017: Salary Details

The basic pay of the candidates after selection would be ₹10940/- per month in the scale of 10940 - 380 (4) -12460 - 440 (3) – 13780 – 520 (3) – 15340 - 690 (2) -16720 – 860 (4) – 20160 – 1180 (3) - 23700 (20 years). the candidates will also be eligible for other allowances such as Special Compensatory Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Family Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Grade Allowance, etc. as admissible from time to time.

Currently, the initial monthly gross emoluments (in-hand salary) of RBI Office Attendant is approximately ₹ 22,339/-.

Apart from this, candidates can also avail Conveyance allowance, Medical Reimbursement on declaration basis, Book Grant, Reimbursement of cost of spectacles, Furnishing of Residence, Reimbursement of education expenses, News Paper Bill,  Reimbursement of GSLI, Car Insurance, Leave Fare Concession, etc. as per eligibility.
