IBPS Clerk Exam is a 2 Tier examination.

1. Tier-I: Prelims exam - This phase is of qualifying nature.

2. Tier-II: Mains exam - This phase is of great value because marks obtained in this phase will be taken into consideration for final provisional allotment.

IBPS Clerk 2016: Prelims Exam Pattern

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for online main examination.

IBPS Clerk 2016: Mains Exam Pattern

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each section of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on the number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment.
