IPM IIM Indore Admission 2017: Exam Date/Eligibility/Selection

The official notification for Integrated Program in Mangement (IPM) 2017 has been released by IIM Indore on its official website. IPM is a five-year integrated course launched in 2011 by IIM Indore. The program has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (4th and 5th year). The motive behind the launch of this program by the organization was to produce contextually relevant, socially-conscious managers and leaders with a foundation of word class education in social sciences followed by management education.

The first batch of IPM was graduated in the month of March 2016. This article covers the important dates announced by IIM Indore regarding the exam along with other necessary information like Eligibility, Application Procedure, Reservation details etc.

IPM IIM 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the IPM Program must satisfy the following criteria:

• General and NC-OBC Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July'17.
• SC, ST and PWD (DA) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 22 years of age as on July'17. 

Important Note to Remember

• Candidates who are likely to complete XII/HSC by the end of June 2017 can also apply. These candidates must meet necessarily the criteria as mentioned above. At the time of registration for the program, these candidates must have to produce the mark sheets of X and XII standard along with other necessary documents like the migration certificate. 
• Those candidates can also apply who are pursuing their X and XII from international schools affiliated to foreign board’s like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate).

IPM 2017 Application Procedure 

(1) The application for the Program for 2017 will start from 16^th March 2017 on the official website. 

(2) During the application, submission of fee is done online as per the categories: Rs. 1400 (Rupees Fourteen Hundred only for General and NC-OBC category) / Rs.700 (Rupees Seven Hundred only for SC, ST and PWD(DA) category). The application fee is non‐refundable/non-transferable.

(3) During the application the candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST and PWD/DA categories need to produce valid certificate(s) in support of their reservation category.

The selection procedure to the IPM program is divided into the following steps:

(1) The candidates who are satisfying the eligibility criteria will have to submit their application online during the time slot of the application. 

(2) Based on the application received, the candidates will be caled for the Aptitude Test (AT) which is conducted across 28 test cities. 

(3)  Candidates who having positive raw scores in both the sections of Aptitude Test are shortlisted for Personal Interview. The sufficient number of candidates from all the categories will be shortlisted according to the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) as mentioned in the following table:

(4) A merit list for all the categories is generated based on the composite score as mentioned below:
