RBI has released a notification for the discontinuation of Interviews for the post of RBI Assistant exam. This modification will be applicable for the ongoing RBI recruitment 2016. Candidates for RBI Assistant will now be selected based on the marks obtained in the Mains phase of this exam.
The selected candidates however will now have to undergo a language proficiency test of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office. This test will be of qualifying in nature and only those candidates who qualify in the said test shall be appointed in the Bank.
