The National Testing Agency has started the registration for Test Practice Centre(TPC) for JEE Main 2019. There will be a total 2700 (approx) test centers across the country. These TPCs will be offering free of cost mock test for JEE Main. It should be noted that these TPCs will remain open on Saturday and Sunday where training will be given to each registered aspirant. The TPCs will be operative starting from 8th September 2018 on all Saturday’s/Sundays. The slot for Saturday is from 14:30 to 17:30 Hrs and two slots of Sunday are from 11:00 to 14:00 Hrs and 14:30 to 17:30 Hrs.
Steps to register for Test Practice Centres on National Testing Agency website for JEE Main 2019:
- Log on to the National Testing Agency official website. Alternatively, you can log on the official website by clicking on this link: https://ntatpc.in/
- At the top of the page, you will see Student Registration(For Practice Center). Click on this link and it will open the Test Practice Centre Registration page.
- In the next step, you will see three option to choose from. You can choose either 'Sign in with Google' or 'Login with Facebook' or 'Mobile Login' to sign.
- a) When you choose 'Sign in with Google' or 'Login with Facebook', you will be asked to enter the details of Gmail/facebook account. Enter those details to move on to the next step.
b) When you choose 'Mobile Login' to sign, you will get an OTP. Enter that OTP to move on to the next step. - Once you logged in, you will be asked to enter a few personal details as shown in the image. Age will be automatically populated once you fill your date of birth.
Upload passport size photo and photo id proof.
- Click on next and you will be asked to enter your contact detail. Enter your phone number, state, and other details.
7. Click on next. You will be asked to enter Academic/exam detail. Enter these details and click next.
8. In the next page, you will see the below form.
In the exam type, enter Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) and enter the number of attempts in Mains. Click on submit to submit the form
Once you submit all these details, you will see a list of centers for the practice test. You can select any of it as per your convenience. You will have to select five centers mentioning your preference.
In case you are not getting the list of centers by following the above steps, you will see the screen as this one.
You do not need to worry. Just click on 'Click here to more' in the page where you are right now. It will open a new window where you can select State and District. Once you follow this step, the next page will open as this one.
Now you can select State and District, and click on search. It will list out a few centers for the selected state and district.
Select five centers by checking the tick box which is present on the right side. Also, mention your preference for that center.
Once you select five centers along with preference, then click on the appointment which is present at the right top corner. You will get the below screen. Here, you have to select a date on which you wish to practice and then click on 'Proceed' button.
Once you click on proceed, you shall get the following screen. The booking date will vary as per your date selection. Your preference willl be mentioned in your preference order.
After this, you will have to confirm the appointment by clicking over 'Confirm Appointment' on the top right corner. You will get the confirmation message as below.
And you are done!
Few points to be noted:
a. You can select only one date for practice (as of now)
b. Date selection: Choose as per your wish and convenience. You can choose only Saturday or Sunday as these TPCs will be functioning only on weekends.
c. Center selection: Choose the one which is nearer to your residence.
It should be noted that TPC registration is not mandatory for JEE Main Examination.
