DSSSB PGT Computer Science 2021: Exam Details

Syllabus	Section – A:-MCQs of one mark each as per existing examination scheme 1. Mental ability and reasoning ability, 2. General Awareness, 3. English Language & Comprehension, 4. Hindi Language& comprehension, 5. Numerical Aptitude & Data Interpretation Total 100 Marks (20 Marks each) Section- B:-MCQs pertaining to Post-Graduation qualification and teaching methodology required for the post. (200 Questions): 200 Marks.
Time	3 hrs.

Negative Marking	Deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong MCQ answer.
Special Note	Candidates have to qualify in Section A & B separately as per their category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman) minimum qualifying marks. However, final merit will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of both the section A & B

DSSSB PGT Computer Science Educational Qualification

Post (PGT)	Description
Essential	(1) Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University. (2)Degree / Diploma in training /Education.  (I) Having obtained a Ph.D. Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University/Institution. OR (II) Having obtained First Division in Higher Secondary, Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the Mandatory condition that the candidate will acquire the B.Ed. / B.T. qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service.
Pay Scale	Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4800/- Group: ‘B’
Experience	3 years experience of teaching in a College /Higher Secondary School/ High School in the subject concerned.
Age Limit	Below 36 years, Age Relaxation Guest/Contract teachers:- Relaxation in upper age as a onetime measure up to the actual time spent as a contractual employee of the same department, subject to a maximum of 5 years provided they have worked for at least 180 working days in that particular year as per Services Department
