Subject:- Increase in road accident
Sir,
With due respect, I would like your good office to highlight in the column of your esteemed newspaper about increase in road accident. Road accident are on rise in the city inspite of so many precautionary action taken by traffic authorities. Rate of death due the accident are are also very high. According to NDTV-"RoadToSafety" campaign report in every four mintue one person loses his/her life due to fatalities caused by road accident. Drink and drive, negligence of traffic rule are prime cause for these fatalities.Young and inncocent people are worst sufferer of it. Over speeding, over taking, breaking taffic signal , not wearing helmet and seat belt, and also over it they drink and drive which is due negligence of traffic rule. It become worst in night.
Although many rules set by traffic authorities people are not following it properly. There is urgent need to create awareness among people just like NDTV-"RoadToSafety" campaign.Therefore, I request your good office to highlight this issue in your editorial column to create public opinion and awareness regarding road accident. I hope you will do the needful to champion this cause.
