Tripartite Struggle (Pratiharas, Palas and Rashtrakutas) Questions With Answers

There was a common struggle among three kingdoms Pratiharas, Palas and Rashtrakutas in the early medieval period over the control of Kannauj which enabled them to control the fertile upper Gangetic plains. Palas were dominated in eastern India. Gurjar Pratiharas were dominated in Western India and Upper Gangetic valley. Rashtrakutas were dominated in Deccan and certain territories in North and South India.
