Food Corporation of India (FCI) has released official notification for recruitment of Civil, Mechanical & Electrical engineers for the post of Junior Engineer in its various Depots and Offices all over the Country. Age Limit
As on 1st January 2019
- Maximum Age Limit: 28 years
- The candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories are eligible for age relaxation maximum by 05 and 03 years respectively.
- There will not be any upper age limit in case of departmental (FCI) employee.
- The upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years for PwBD, 15 years for PwBD candidates belonging to SC/ST and 13 years for PwBD candidates belonging to OBC.
Application Fee
- SC / ST / PwBD / Serving Defence Personnel / Ex-Serviceman & Women candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
- Candidates from remaining candidates have to pay a fee of ₹ 500.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates have to appear for the online test which comprises of Phase-I and Phase-II exams followed by document verification
Phase 1 Online Exam
- Phase-I exam shall be common to all the posts which will be Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Each question will carry equal 01 (one) mark. For each wrong answer, there will be negative marking of one-fourth (1/4) of the mark assigned to that question.
- The marks obtained in Phase-I will not be reckoned in final merit ranking.
- The pattern of Phase-1 exam is as follows

Phase-II online exam

Document Verification
- The Online test shall be followed by document verification stage for the candidates provisionally selected on the basis of the merit.
- The number of Candidates to be called for document verification may be equal to three times the number of advertised vacancies.
