✩★✩ Poland’s Olga Tokarczuk and Austria’s Peter Handke win Literature Nobels ✩★✩

●Ms. Tokarczuk won the award for the year 2018 for works that explore the “crossing of boundaries as a form of life”, the Swedish Academy said.
●The Prize for 2019 was awarded to Mr. Handke “for an influential work that with linguistic ingenuity has explored the periphery and the specificity of human experience”.
●The Nobel Prizes for literature are awarded after a year’s hiatus due to sex abuse allegations that rocked the secretive Academy, which selects the laureates.
