Explanation – Sub form I will follow "It + was(form of be)"

2.  The Congress Party stood for the implementation of the Nuclear Liability Bill and was ready to stake its political existence.

Explanation –  Congress Party is singular and will take singular adjective its.

3. You, he and I shall arrange everything and shall not ask them for help.

Explanation –According to rule '231 rule' You, he and I are the correct order.

4. Last summer I went to Shimla and enjoyed myself very much.

Explanation – If there is no object after the verb 'enjoy', a reflexive pronoun follows the verb.

5. One should keep one's promise if one wants respect from both friends and enemies.

Explanation – One's is the possessive case of one.
