REET Level -1 & 2 Previous Year cut-off, Validity and Selection Process

REET Cut-off: REET stands for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) and this exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. REET is the entrance examination for Teachers and includes two-level. Level 1 is for those candidates who want to become a teacher in primary school (Class1 to 5) and Level 2 is for those candidates who want to become a teacher in upper primary school (Class 6 to 8). In this article, we are covering REET minimum qualifying criteria and final selection process and cut-off.

REET Details:

1.The exam was earlier known as RTET Exam, Rajasthan TET Exam or Rajasthan 3rd Grade Teacher Exam (REET Bharti) 2020. Later the name was changed into REET Exam. 
2. REET includes two levels- Level 1 is for Primary classes(I-V) & Level 2 is for Secondary classes(VI-VIII).
3. Total number of questions asked in REET Level 1 & 2 is 150.
4. The time duration of the REET is 150 minutes( 2hours 30 minutes).
5. The validity period of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test is 3 years.
6. There is no negative marking in the REET.

Note: Candidates those score minimum passing marks will qualify REET 2020 and awarded the certificate and then-candidate will be eligible to teach in the private schools and also become eligible to apply for state government teaching posts.

Rajasthan Level -2 Teacher Selection Process & Cut-off 2018:

The final selection for the upper primary teacher was decided on the basis of REET level - 2 scores and graduation percentage in the ratio of (70:30) in 2018. The final selection process for the upper primary level is not decided yet. Here we are sharing 2018 final cut-off for upper primary teacher.
