10. Word: Humane (दयालु)

  • Pronunciation: hyu-mane
  • Meaning - feeling or displaying worry about the misery of another
  • Synonyms - compassionate, kind-hearted, civilised.
  • Antonyms - cruel, inhumane, brutal
  • Example - As a vegetarian, I believe that people should only eat plants as part of an effort to be more humane to animals.
