Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur invites online applications from engineering graduates who have appeared in GATE exam for M.Tech admissions in specialization in various programmes. Interested candidates may apply for the eligible specialization till 20th April 2020. Check the details of M.Tech programmes, eligibility criteria here below:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (4 year program) or a master’s degree in science, MCA, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Sciences or in a related field.
- Minimum of 60% marks for GEN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PD) category in aggregate or as specified by the university/institute or a minimum CGPA of 6.0 for GEN/OBC (5.5 forSC/ST/PD) category on the scale of 10; with corresponding proportional requirements when the scales are other than on 10 (for example 4.8 for GEN/OBC category (4.4 for SC/ST/PD) on a scale of 8) or a first-class as specified by the university/institute.
- (For Full time Regular Candidates with financial support) A valid GATE score or exempted from GATE as per MHRD circular or have qualified an equivalent National Examination or have qualified in the written test and/or interview conducted by IIT Jodhpur. OR (For Part-time/ External/ Employer Sponsored) Minimum of two years of work experience (after qualifying degree) in industry/R&D laboratories/Academic Institutions at the time of registration tothe program. The applicant must qualify the written test and/or interview conducted by IIT Jodhpur.

Application Fee:
- The application fee is ₹ 300 for General and OBC Candidates and ₹ 150 for SC, ST and PD applicants .
Assistantship:
- Students enrolled in M.Tech. Prgrams are provided Assistantship of Rs. 12,400 per month, if they possess the qualifying degree of B.E./B.Tech./B.S./B.Des. and qualify through the GATE/GPAT.
Note:
- Sponsored Category of students, including those in receipt of any other similar Assistantship, Scholarship or Fellowship, would not be eligible for Assistantship from the Institute.
- B.Tech. Graduates from the IITs securing a CGPA of 8/10 or more, would be eligible for Assistantship from the Institute, even if they had not qualified through GATE.
