Tips and Tricks

1. Nature of the Question

The maximum number of questions asked in the exam is based on simple concepts, and with the routine practice, one can learn the art to look out for these simple questions and make sure that one does not miss out on these questions.

2. Accuracy is the key:

Your accuracy in attempting the maximum questions play an important role in deciding the final score. Your score not only depends on the number of the question you attempt in the exam but also on the number of questions you got right. In the CAPF(AC) examination, it is possible for every candidate to fetch maximum marks in this section. One need to mug up the syllabus and practice the questions of each and every topic as much as possible.

3. Avoid wastage of Time:

It has been observed that many students get stuck on one particular question & spend 5-10 minutes, leaving less time for other questions. Thus, although they are able to do that one question and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment, however, they fail to realize that they could have done 5-6 questions at the same time. It is advisable for all the candidates to move onto the next question after spending adequate time on a certain question.

You can anyways come back to this question later if time is available. Hence try to solve only easy questions in the section first & then only move to difficult ones.

4. Time management is very important

To solve questions in minimum time, candidates must learn tables up to 25, squares up to 30, and cubes up to 20, must learn fast multiplication and knowing ways to find squares and cubes of three-digit numbers in a single step through Vedic maths.
