Tesla's Dream, Your Reality

Introduction:

  • Tesla is an American electric vehicle and clean energy company based in California.
  • Elon Musk, who is currently the fifth richest person on the planet currently leads Tesla but it was not founded by him.
  • Eric Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning actually founded Tesla in the year 2003 and later in 2004, Elon Musk joined the board of directors as the chairman and later became the CEO.
  • Elon Musk has also revolutionized the world by his rocket producer company, SpaceX. You can refer to this article to know more about ( SpaceX )

  • The company name is a tribute to Nikola Tesla. He is one of the famous scientists and his major contributions were in production, application and transmission of electric power.
  • Nikola Tesla is well known for designing Alternating Current (A.C) electric systems, which is used almost everywhere in today's world.

Alluring Features of Tesla:

  • Biggest Infotainment System: Tesla Model S offers a 17 inch touchscreen panel, which includes everything like control panel for driving, music, navigation, video games, Netflix, Youtube and all you dream of. It literally helps you to consume your free time when the battery is charging.

  • Safety: Tesla tops the list of safest cars in the world. The are engineered in such a way that it include hightech features like passive safety, active safety and automated driver assistance. The fortified structure of battery of the car is mounted to the base of car, which provides it exceptional strength, large crumple zones and a uniquely low center of gravity. It also holds the title of lowest drag coefficient so it can be said that it is build like a tank.
  • Speed and Consistency: Although it is not at all advisable to drive rash and fast, the Tesla's Roadster model which was launched in 2018, is the fastest electric car with a top speed of around 250 MPH (402 Km/hr). Also, the driving range on a single charge is around 500 km so there is no need to charge again and again and you can cover a lot of distance in a single go. 

In this era of pollution everywhere, electric cars have a huge impact on our lives. Also, Elon Musk said he will be launching Tesla cars in India also by the year 2021. Tesla is in talks with the Karnataka Government to set up a Research and Development Centre as well as a Manufacturing Unit in Bangalore. Tesla is also invited by the Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu Government. Let's see which state holds good. Various states are inviting Tesla not only because of the investment factor, but also for electric mobility and sustainability. The more electric cars will be on Indian roads, the less polluted air will be there to breathe and the greenhouse emissions will be controlled.
