The English Language is one of the most important subjects for any competitive exam, especially for Teaching exams.

  • Reading Comprehension: This is the most important part of any competitive exam or qualifying exam in the English section. Candidates can easily one to two passages (unseen passages) or in poem form. Each passage has a set of five to six questions.   • Error Detection: In these questions, either a large sentence will be broken down into parts, where one part contains an error or the second type error correction question include a set of sentences, and you are required to identify the sentence which contains an error.

  • Synonym and Antonym: From this topic questions related to word meaning & their opposite is being asked. It is necessary to read the newspaper daily to remember new words.

  • Unseen Passage: Unseen passage is one section in which candidates can score a great deal. Before reading the passage, take a cursory glance at the questions related to the passage. Now read the passage and underline sentences or phrases which match those in the questions. This will help you attempt answers more quickly, thus saving time. To prepare for unseen passages, practice past year question papers, and mock tests.
