AFCAT Physical Eligibility and Medical Standards must be met by candidates who aspire to become Air Force officers. The AFCAT medical test is conducted for candidates recommended by the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). Applicants should make sure they meet all AFCAT physical eligibility requirements before submitting an application for the exam. In this article, we will discuss the AFCAT physical eligibility for female and male candidates, along with medical eye test and other medical tests.

AFCAT Physical and Medical Standards

Working in the AFCAT is reputable, but it is a highly demanding job. The job requires officers to not only be in top physical structure but also be medically fit and mentally strong to be qualified for the AFCAT physical eligibility for female and male candidates. Thus, the Indian Air Force has to ensure that a candidate is physically and medically fit to serve as an officer in the Air Force.

Every candidate has to undergo an AFCAT physical and medical test in which they are profoundly scanned to be a medical practitioner. The AFCAT Eligibility of the candidate, such as their weight and height, are also measured & recorded.

The candidates found to be overweight according to the specified standards are issued with a letter of caution & they have to decrease their weight to the specified standard weight before they report themselves to the appeal medical board. Candidates may check the branch-wise AFCAT physical eligibility for female and male candidates below.
