Latest GD Topics for NDA SSB Interview

As we are aware that GD is the first test of the GTO series in NDA SSB. GD is an informal discussion among group members on a specific topic. There are overall two discussions in the first discussion aspirants get choice & in second discussion aspirants do not get any choice. Usually, both topics have three subtopics. For both discussions, 15-20 minutes are given to discuss.

This shows the aspirant’s knowledge of Current affairs, history & social awareness as well as his or her grouping skills such as group coordination, listening power, communication, concentration, speaking tactics, patience etc. The core of the GTO is knowledge & communication skills. Some Tips for GD Preparation:

  • In Group Discussion, candidates are never asked to directly point out the good & bad on a topic, rather, two to three-pointers related to the topic are given, one can put his point forwards according to his understanding of the topic.
  • Candidate must study each topic & try to gather as many facts & figures. All the data is available online when the candidate speaks with facts & figures, one sound more mature & it shows the candidate has a better understanding of the topic.
  • Always keep an eye on the recent happenings in Indian & around the world, do not ignore an issue just by labelling it political. In the present world, any issue can be connected with politics. Having some knowledge about the burning issues will surely help the candidate in his G.D. & PI.
