DSSSB 2023 Preparation Strategy: PRT,TGT & PGT Posts.

In this article, we should read related to the preparation strategy requires to qualify for the DSSSB exam for the posts- PRT(Primary Teacher) TGT(Trained Graduate Teacher) & PGT (Post Graduate Teacher).

 

 

How to Prepare for DSSSB PRT?

PRT stands for Primary Teacher and teaches classes 1st to 5th.In the DSSSB PRT, there will be 200 questions asked carrying a total of 200 marks and the time allotted will be 120 minutes. It will be conducted through Online Mode. The question paper will consist of objective-type questions & there will be two-part, Part A will be of 5 sections with 20 marks each and Part B will be of 100 marks. There will be negative markings in the exam.

Preparation Strategy:

1. Follow Syllabus- Syllabus for the PRT post is vast candidates need to study English, Hindi Language, Reasoning, Mathematics, GK, GA, CA & CDP, Teaching Methodology, Teaching Aptitude & Attitude.

2. Refer to Previous Year Question Paper- Previous year question paper can be practised to have an idea about the pattern and nature of questions asked in the exam

3. Read important books for DSSSB-

  • DSSSB PRT Exam Goalpost Solved Papers and Practice Test.
  • Kiran's DSSSB All Exams 2013-2018 Solved Paper.

4. Practice Mock Test & Quizzes- Select topics from the syllabus that is a bit difficult to understand and practice questions and quizzes on them.

5. Prepare short notes- For Part B candidates can prepare short notes for the following subjects i.e. CDP, Teaching Methodology, Teaching Aptitude & Attitude.

How to Prepare for DSSSB TGT?

TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher and teaches classes 6th to 10th.In the DSSSB TGT, there will be 200 questions asked carrying a total of 200 marks and the time allotted will be 120 minutes. It will be conducted through Online Mode. The question paper will consist of objective-type questions & there will be two-part, Part A will be of 5 sections with 20 marks each- MCQs of one mark each as per the existing examination scheme:

1. General Awareness,
2. General Intelligence & Reasoning ability,
3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability,
4. Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension and Part B will be of 100 marks and MCQs of one mark each from the subject concerned including questions teaching methodology/B.Ed. There will be negative markings in the exam.

How to Prepare for DSSSB PGT?

PGT stands for Post Graduate Teacher and teaches classes 11th & 12th.In the DSSSB PGT, there will be 300 questions asked carrying a total of 300 marks and the time allotted will be 180 minutes. It will be conducted through Online Mode. The question paper will consist of objective-type questions & there will be two-part, Part A will be of 5 sections with 20 marks each and Part B will be of 200 marks and includes MCQs related to Post-Graduation qualification and teaching methodology essential for the post. Negative marking will be done in the exam.

1. General English: - English section is the Important section for the DSSSB exam but many students always face difficulty in attempting the English section. If you are an average student when it comes to the English section, then all you need to do is make a habit of practising English Questions on daily basis. Prepare the schedule to cover all the important topics.

All you need to cover Current affairs, Static news of the last 6 months to score maximum marks (30+) in this section, and make a habit of reading & revising the news regularly.
