Indian Coast Guard Navik/ Yantrik notification has been released on 14 December 2021. Candidates can apply for ICG Navik/ Yantrik exam 2022 from 04 January – 14 January 2022. The stage 1 exam of ICG Navik/ Yantrik 2022 is expected to be conducted in the month of march 2022. Candidates can check all the important dates in the following table.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Entry Eligibility Criteria 2022

Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard Navik Entry 2022

The candidate must be a minimum of 18 Years and a maximum of 22 years to apply for the Indian Coast Guard Navik 2021 exam

Navik (GD) and Yantrik	The candidate should born between 01 August 2000 to 31 July 2004 (both dates inclusive)
Navik(DB)	The candidate should born between 01 October 2000 to 31 September 2004 (both dates inclusive)

Note: There is upper age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST 

• 5 years for SC/ST 
• 3 years for OBC (non-creamy)

Education Qualification for Indian Coast Guard Navik 2022 Exam

Navik (Domestic Branch)	The candidate must have passed his 10th Class  from a Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) recognized education board
Yantrik	Candidate must have passed his 10th Class  from a Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) recognized education board and Diploma in  Electrical Mechanical  Electronics Telecommunication (Radio/Power)  03/04 years of Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).  OR  The candidate must have passed his 10+2  from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in  Electrical/  Mechanical /  Electronics/  Telecommunication (Radio/Power) 02/03 years of Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Examination Fee of Indian Coast Guard Navik

There is an examination fee of Rs. 250/-(Rupees Two hundred Fifty only) which can be paid through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI. There is no fee for SC/ST candidates.

Steps to Apply for Indian Coast Guard Navik/ Yantrik 2022 Exam

To apply for the Indian Coast Guard Navik 2022exam, candidates need to follow the steps given below:

1. Candidates need to visit the official site of the Indian Coast Guard, joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in
2. You need to click on the ‘Enrolled Personnel (CGEPT)‘ Tab
3. The candidate needs to enter a registered email id and password. If the candidate is not registered, create a new account and process to fill the application form 
4. Move on to fill the application form. Candidates have to fill in all the details as per the instructions.
5. Upload scanned photograph and signature as instructed.

Selection Process of Indian Coast Guard Navik/ Yantrik 2022 Exam

The selection of ICG Navik/ Yantrik recruits is based on merit prepared on all India basis. It is based on candidates performance in all the stages of Indian Coast Guard and the number of vacancies available for the post. In the following table we are sharing the stages of ICG Navik/ Yantrik 2022 exam.

Stage	Details
Stage 1 – ICG Navik/ Yantrik Exam	ICG Navik/ Yantrik written exam will be of objective type. Successful candidates of written exam will be called for the Physical fitness test (PFT). All candidates will have to go through to identity check prior commencement of the examination
Stage 2 – ICG Navik/ Yantrik Exam	The duration of Stage – 2 will be from 1 to 2 days. Stage-2 includes three test which are only qualifying in nature i.e. either Pass or Fail. (I)Physical Fitness Test (Pass/Fail). Candidates have to go through PFT. All candidates are advised to be in possession of following things (Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser etc). The PFT consists of:- 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes. 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak). 10 Push-up. (II) Document Verification (Provisionally Pass/Fail). (III)Initial Medicals Examination (Pass/Fail).
Stage 3 – ICG Navik/ Yantrik Exam	Based on the candidates performance in above stages, an all India merit list will be made. Final medicals Admit card will be issued as per the vacancies notified by the ICG.
Stage 4 – ICG Navik/ Yantrik Exam	Stage III qualified candidates will stand in merit as per the vacancies available. Shortlisted candidates will go for training at INS Chilka. There candidates have to submit all the documents.
