Question 1

Direction: Given below are two quantities named I and II. Based on the given information, you have to determine the relation between the two quantities. You should use the given data and your knowledge of Mathematics to choose among the possible answers.
Quantity I: Cost Price of Item X if the price of item X is marked at Rs 10,600 and after giving a discount of 4%, a gain of 20% is achieved. 
Quantity II: Selling Price of item Y after two successive discounts of 10% and 15% is provided on the Marked Price of Rs 11,000.

Direction: Given below are two Quantities named I and II. Based on the given information, you have to determine the relation between the two quantities. You should use the given data and your knowledge of Mathematics to choose among the possible answers.

Quantity I: Minimum quantity of milk in liters that should be mixed in the mixture so, that resulting mixture has 40% milk.
In 60 liters mixture, the ratio of milk and water is 1 : 3.

Quantity II: Quantity of milk if in 75 liters mixture, the ratio of milk and water is 1 : 2.

Direction: Given below are two quantities named I and II. Based on the given information, you have to determine the relation between the two quantities. You should use the given data and your knowledge of Mathematics to choose among the possible answers.

Quantity I: The work efficiency of a man, a woman and a boy are in the ratio 4 : 5 : 6. 15 men and 12 women can do a piece of work in 60 days. In how many days 10 men, 18 women and 5 boys can complete the same work?

Quantity II: Ramesh alone can do a piece of work in 60 days and Mahesh can do the same work in 120 days. In how many days they can do the whole work together?

Direction: In the question, Quantity I and Quantity II are given. You have to solve both the Quantity to establish the correct relation between Quantity-I and Quantity-II and choose the correct option.

Quantity I: The total number of the employees of company A, if total females are 275 which is 125% of the number of males.

Quantity II: The value of x, if 35% of 72% of 60% of x is 75.6.

In the question, Quantity I and Quantity II are given. You have to solve both the Quantity to establish the correct relation between Quantity-I and Quantity-II and choose the correct option.

Quantity I: The length of train A, if the speed of train A is 20 m/sec and it crosses another train B moving in opposite direction in 12.5 sec and the speed of train B is 16 m/s and the length of train B is 50% less than length of train A .

Quantity II: 360 meter.

Number of mobiles sold by Shopkeeper Q in March and May together is what percent more/less than total number of mobiles sold by shopkeeper R in January and February together?

Direction: Bar-graph given below shows the number of mobiles sold by three shopkeepers i.e. P, Q and R in 5 different months.

Number of mobiles sold by shopkeeper Q in June is 10% less than he sold in the month of May and number of mobiles sold by shopkeeper R in June is 20% more than he sold in the month of May. Find the ratio between the total number of mobiles sold by shopkeeper Q to shopkeeper R in the month of June.

What is the difference between total number of mobiles sold by shopkeeper P in January, February and March and total number of mobiles sold by shopkeeper Q in March, April and May?
