GATE Exam Centres 2023 Released: Zone, State & City wise GATE Test Center List

IIT Kanpur has released the zone-wise list of the GATE exam centres 2023 and cities where the examination is planned to be held in different states. There are 8 Zones which include 7 IITs and IISc Bangalore. This year IIT Kanpur will also conduct the GATE 2023 exam in 8 International cities mentioned below in the article. A candidate can choose three cities for GATE exam centres as the choice of examination city. However, candidates must note that all three choices must be from the same zone.
IIT Kanpur has added 23 new exam centres to the list. With the new GATE exam centres added to the list, the organizing institute will now conduct the examination in 219 cities across the country. If a candidate chooses a particular city that lies in a particular zone as the first choice, then they will be able to choose the city of the second and third choices from the same zone only. GATE Exam Centres 2023
The GATE exam centres 2023 include eight zonal centres. These include seven IITs and IISc Bangalore, whose details were released by the organizing Institute, IIT Kanpur, in GATE 2023 notification brochure. Candidates can check the detailed list of eight zonal centres where the GATE exam will be conducted from the table given below in the article. IIT Kanpur is given the zonal responsibility to organize GATE in International centres.

GATE Exam Centres 2023: Zone-Wise and State-Wise
Here we have provided a list of the cities (zone-wise and state-wise) where GATE 2023 will take place. Candidates can check the Zonal Offices (one of the IITs or IISc) related to their exam centres. The zonal offices will be the point of contact for any questions regarding your examination centre and other issues. Therefore, applicants may contact their zonal centres if they have any issues with the GATE 2023 exam.

GATE 2023 International Exam Centres
GATE 2023 will also be conducted in exam centres outside India in 8 international locations. Candidates also have to follow covid-19 norms as per these countries’ rules to sit in the examination. The International locations where IIT Kanpur will conduct the GATE examination are below.

How to Change the GATE 2023 Exam Centers?
IIT Kanpur will also provide the facility to change the GATE exam centres 2023, which candidates have filled in their GATE application form 2023. However, candidates will have to pay an additional fee for changing the exam city, which is ₹ 500.
The steps to edit the GATE exam centres 2023 are as follows:
- Log in to the GOAPS website through Enrollment ID and Password.
- Click on the ‘Edit GATE application form 2023’ option to make the exam center change.
- Change exam centres and click on proceed to pay the fee.
- Pay the editing fee for changing the exam centre.
