HTET Eligibility Criteria 2022: Age Limit & Education Qualification

HTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates filling up the HTET application form must go through the HTET age limit, HTET educational qualification, and age relaxation to avoid application cancellation later.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-1 Primary Teacher (PRT) (Class I -V):

• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Education (Special education) OR
• Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-2 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) (Class VI-VIII):

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), under the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
• Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in B.Ed(Special Education).(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-3 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) (Class IX-XII):

• Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognised university and B.Ed. from a recognised university
• (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr.Secondary/Graduation/Post-graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects
• Must own a consistently good academic record.

HTET Age Limit

There is no maximum age limit for applying for the HTET 2022 exam.
